Background
K4 Office Support was founded in 1996. Initially, it focused on management support in the broadest sense through such things as secretarial services, recording minutes and translation services. It quickly became clear that the translation services were developing by far the quickest and K4 Office Support now profiles itself as an interpreting and translation agency.
K4
Office Support was founded by and is the property of Erica Weeda. She studied
Scandinavian Languages and Literature (majoring in Norwegian) at the universities
of Groningen and Oslo. After completing her studies, she worked for more than
ten years in international business where she held various management support
and managerial positions.
Her specialities include financial-economic, medical and
legal translations from Danish, English, German, Norwegian and Swedish, as
well as interpreting for the police, the justice department and the media.
She is also a professional literary translator.
She is interested in poetry and in translating the work of modern Norwegian
poets.
